By accessing or using Hooksnap, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree to these terms, please don't use our service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Hooksnap. If you are under 18, you may only use the service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Service Description

Hooksnap is an AI-powered thumbnail generation service for YouTube creators. Our service:

• Uses artificial intelligence to analyze videos and generate thumbnail suggestions
• Operates on a credit-based system where credits are consumed per generation
• Provides results that may vary — AI outputs are not guaranteed to meet specific expectations

3. User Accounts

• You may only create one account per person
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Acceptable Use

When using Hooksnap, you agree NOT to:

• Upload or generate illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Use content that infringes on others' copyrights or intellectual property
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or abuse the service in any way
• Use automated tools to scrape or excessively access the service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use generated thumbnails for purposes other than your own YouTube content

5. Intellectual Property

Our property: Hooksnap, including its platform, branding, AI models, and underlying technology, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

Your property: You retain ownership of:

• Content you upload (videos, images, templates)
• Thumbnails generated using our service

By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

6. Payment Terms

All payments are processed by Polar as our Merchant of Record.

• Credits and subscriptions are billed as described at purchase
• Prices are displayed in your local currency where possible
• Subscription renewals are automatic unless cancelled

7. Limitation of Liability

Hooksnap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Service interruptions or technical issues
• Actions taken based on AI-generated content

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your account settings.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination:

• Your access to the service will be revoked
• We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the service. Your continued use of Hooksnap after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
